🥣 Aval Puttu Recipe
Ingredients:

2 cups aval (poha / beaten rice)

¾ cup grated coconut (fresh)

½ – ¾ cup grated jaggery (adjust to taste)

3–4 cardamom pods (crushed)

2 tbsp ghee

8–10 cashews

8–10 raisins
Preparation Method:

Prepare Aval:

Wash aval quickly and drain (don’t soak for long).

Keep aside for 10 minutes until soft and fluffy.

Mix with Jaggery & Coconut:

In a large bowl, combine softened aval, grated coconut, and grated jaggery.

Mix gently using your hands to combine well.

Add crushed cardamom for flavor.

Heat ghee, fry cashews and raisins until golden.
