GODAMBU / WHEAT KAIPATHIRI

INGREDIENTS

WHEAT FLOUR- 1 CUP
WARM WATER
SALT

SUGAR - 4 TABLESPOONS

GRATED COCONUT- 1/2 CUP
WATER

SHALLOTS- 4 CUT INTO SMALL PIECES
CUMIN SEEDS- 1/2 TABLESPOON


PREPARATION

POUR WARM WATER INTO WHEAT FLOUR AND ADD SALT.  MIX WELL

ADD GRATED COCONUT TO THIS.  MIX WELL
CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN IN ADDING WATER.  THE MIXTURE SHOULD BE THICK

ADD SHALLOTS, CRUSHED CUMIN SEEDS AND SUGAR. MIX WELL

ROLL INTO  BALLS (MEDIUM ORANGE SIZE)

PRESS THE DOUGH WITH HAND PLACING IT IN A PLANTAIN LEAF OR YOU CAN USE ALUMINIUM FOIL



NOW FRY BOTH SIDES IN A PAN TILL CRISPY
