🌿 Masala Vada Recipe
Ingredients:

1 cup chana dal (split Bengal gram), soaked for 2–3 hours

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2–3 green chilies, finely chopped

1 tsp ginger, grated

2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped

1 tsp cumin seeds

¼ tsp asafoetida (hing)

Salt to taste

Oil for deep frying
Instructions:

Drain the soaked chana dal and coarsely grind it in a food processor. Keep some texture; don’t make a smooth paste.

Transfer to a mixing bowl and add chopped onion, green chilies, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin seeds, asafoetida, and salt. Mix well.

Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.

Shape the mixture into small patties or round balls using wet hands.
