PARIPPU PAYASAM

INGREDIENTS

CHERUPAYAR PARIPPU-1/2 CUP

JAGGERY - 2

FIRST THICK COCONUT MILK- 1 CUP
SECOND COCONUT MILK- 2 CUPS

GHEE- 3 TABLESPOONS

CASHEW NUTS-8
RAISINS- 1 TABLESPOON
COCONUT PIECES

CARDAMOM POWDER- 1/2 TABLESPOON

PREPARATION



FRY CASHEW NUTS, RAISINS AND COCONUT PIECES IN GHEE
KEEP IT ASIDE

FRY PARIPPU WITHOUT OIL FOR 5 MINUTES

DISSOLVE JAGGERY IN 1/2 CUP BOILING WATER.  SIEVE IT

ADD THIS TO PARIPPU.  STIRR WELL

WHEN IT BOILS ADD SECOND COCONUT MILK

WHEN IT THICKENS ADD THICK COCONUT MILK

LET IT BOIL
REMOVE FROM FLAME

ADD FRIED RAISINS , CASHEW NUTS AND COCONUT PIECES
ADD CARDAMOM POWDER
