CABBAGE THORAN


INGREDIENTS

CABBAGE- 1/2

GREEN CHILLIES-5, CUT LENGTHWISE
GRATED COCONUT-1/4 CUP
ONION-1, CHOPPED
TURMERIC POWDER-1/4 TABLESPOON

MUSTARD- 1 TABLESPOON
CURRY LEAVES-8
COCONUT OIL- 2 TABLESPOONS 

SALT

PREPARATION

CUT CABBAGE INTO FINE PIECES.  
WASH WITH WATER.  DRAIN WATER WELL

MIX CABBAGE WITH GRATED COCONUT, GREEN CHILLIES, CHOPPED ONION AND 
SALT AND TURMERIC POWDER

HEAT OIL IN A KADAI.  SPLUTTER MUSTARD AND CURRY LEAVES

ADD CABBAGE MIX

COVER WITH A LID

WHEN CABBAGE IS COOKED REMOVE FROM FLAME
