π Chicken Dal Vada Recipe
Ingredients:

250g minced chicken (chicken keema)

½ cup split Bengal gram dal (chana dal), soaked for 2–3 hours

1 medium onion, finely chopped
-
2–3 green chilies, finely chopped
-
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
-
2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped
-
1 tsp cumin seeds
-
½ tsp turmeric powder
-
½ tsp red chili powder
-
1 tsp garam masala
-
Salt to taste

2–3 tbsp rice flour or chickpea flour (to bind)

Oil for deep frying
Instructions:

Drain the soaked chana dal and grind coarsely in a food processor. It should be slightly chunky, not a smooth paste.

In a mixing bowl, combine minced chicken, ground dal, onion, green chilies, ginger-garlic paste, coriander, cumin seeds, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, and salt.

Add flour to help bind the mixture. Mix well.

Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.

Shape the mixture into small round or oval vadas using wet hands.

Fry in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 5–7 minutes per batch.
