KOSAMBARI- A KARNATAKA VEGETABLE SALAD RECIPE

INGREDIENTS

GREEN GRAM- 1/4 CUP; SKIN PEELED
GRATED CARROT- 1
CUCUMBER-1 ; CHOPPED

GRATED COCONUT- 2 TABLESPOONS
LEMON JUICE- 1 TABLESPOON
SALT

FOR SEASONING

MUSTARD- 1/2 TABLESPOON
BLACK GRAM- 1 TABLESPOON
GREEN CHILLY- 1 ; SPLIT LENGTHWISE


PREPARATION

SOAK GREEN GRAM IN WATER  FOR HALF A N HOUR
DRAIN WATER 

MIX IT WITH GRATED COCONUT, CARROT AND CUCUMBER

ADD SALT AND LEMON JUICE

HEAT 1 TABLESPOON OIL 
SPLUTTER MUSTARD , GREEN CHILLIES AND URID DAL/ BLACK GRAM

MIX IT WITH GREEN GRAM MIXTURE

GARNISH WITH CURRY LEAVES AND CORIANDER LEAVES
