AVAL / RICE FLAKES LADDU

INGREDIENTS

AVAL/ POHA / RICE FLAKES - 1 CUP
SUGAR- 1 CUP
CARDAMOM POWDER- 2 TABLESPOONS

GHEE- 1/2 CUP
CASHEW NUTS-2 TABLESPOONS; CRUSHED
PEANUTS- 2 TABLESPOONS CRUSHED

PREPARATION

ROAST AVAL IN 3 TABLESPOONS OF GHEE LITTLE BY LITTLE UNTIL IT SLIGHTLY PUFFS AND GETS A RED TINGE

ALLOW IT TO COOL

GRIND IT INTO A COARSE POWDER IN A BLENDER

GRIND THE SUGAR INTO A VERY FINE POWDER IN A BLENDER AND ADD IT TO THE AVAL
ADD CARDAMOM POWDER , CRUSHED CASHEW NUTS AND PEANUTS TO THIS

WARM GHEE

ADD THE MIXTURE INTO WARM GHEE , MIX WELL AND ROLL IT INTO BALLS

IF THE GHEE COOLS THE BALL CRUMBLES OR BREAKS

SO YOU CAN WARM GHEE BY PARTS AND MAKE LADOO BALLS PART BY PART
