GRATED COCONUT-1/2 CUP
GINGER- 1 INCH PIECE
GREEN CHILLIES-3
DRIED RED CHILLIES-2
SHALLOTS-6
TURMERIC POWDER- A PINCH
SALT
COCONUT OIL-3 TABLESPOONS
MUSTARD - 1 TABLESPOON
CURRY LEAVES- 1 SPRIG
PREPARATION
TAKE A KADAI
HEAT OIL
SPLUTTER MUSTARD. ADD CURRY LEAVES
ADD CLEANED PALAK LEAVES. STEAM IT BY CLOSING WITH A LID
MEANWHILE CRUSH GRATED COCONUT, GINGER, GREEN CHILLIES, DRIED RED CHILLIES, SHALLOTS AND DRIED PRAWNS
ADD THIS TO PALAK LEAVES
ADD SALT AND TURMERIC POWDER
CLOSE WITH A LID
ALLOW IT TO MIX IN A LOW FLAME
