SUGAR- 1/2 TO 1 CUP
GINGER- A SMALL PIECE
LEMON -2
WATER- 2 CUPS
PREPARATION
PEEL OFF SKIN FROM BEET ROOT
WASH WELL
CUT INTO PIECES
COOK IT WITH SUGAR, CHOPPED GINGER, AND WATER
WHEN THICKENS ADD LEMON JUICE AND REMOVE FROM FLAME
WHEN COOLED, STRAIN IT AND STORE IN A GLASS BOTTLE
MIX IT WITH WATER AND SERVE CHILLED
