BESAN BURFI

INGREDIENTS

BESAN/GRAM FLOUR- 1 CUP
SUGAR- 1 CUP
GHEE- 1/2 CUP
CARDAMOM POWDER- 1/2 TABLESPOON
NUTS- TO GARNISH

PREPARATION

HEAT A NON STICK PAN
REDUCE THE FLAME TO LOW

ADD BESAN FLOUR. FRY UNTIL IT GIVES AN AROMA WITHOUT CHANGING ITS COLOUR

ADD GHEE
MIX WELL WITHOUT FORMING ANY LUMPS

ADD SUGAR 
MIX WELL WITHOUT FORMING ANY LUMPS

REMOVE FROM FLAME
ADD CARDAMOM POWDER

NOW EMPTY INTO A GREASED PLATE
DECORATE WITH NUTS

WHEN COOL CUT INTO SQUARE OR DIAMOND SHAPE
