UNNAKAI

INGREDIENTS

RIPE BANANA-3

COCONUT- 3/4 CUP
SUGAR-5 TABLESPOONS
CARDAMOM POWDER- 1/2 TABLESPOON

RAISINS- 1 TABLESPOON
CASHEW NUTS-1 TABLESPOON; CHOPPED

GHEE - 1 TABLESPOON

OIL

PREPARATION


STEAM THE BANANA WELL
PEEL OFF SKIN

MASH IT

REMOVE THE CENTER BLACK PORTION

MAKE SMALL BALLS

MEANWHILE IN A PAN HEAT GHEE
ROAST CASHEW NUTS AND RAISINS

ADD COCONUT.  GENTLY ROAST IT

ADD SUGAR 


MIX WELL

REMOVE FROM FLAME AND ADD CARDAMOM POWDER

KEEP THIS MIXTURE ASIDE

GREASE YOUR HAND WITH OIL

TAKE A BANANA BALL.  FLATTEN IT IN YOUR PALMS WITH FINGERS

FILL THE COCONUT MIXTURE INSIDE

MAKE AN OVAL SHAPE

REPEAT THE PROCESS

FRY IT IN OIL TILL BROWN
