INGREDIENTS

FOR BATTER
 
CHICK PEAS FLOUR- 1 CUP
RICE FLOUR- 1/4 CUP

RED CHILLY POWDER- 1 TABLESPOON
TURMERIC POWDER- 1 PINCH
BAKING SODA- 1/4 TABLESPOON
 SALT

FOR SEASONING
 
MUSTARD- 1 TABLESPOON
CUMIN SEEDS- 1/2 TABLESPOON
HING/ ASAFOETIDA- 1 PINCH 
 OIL

FOR FILLING

POTATO- 1; COOKED

GINGER-GARLIC PASTE- 1 TABLESPOON
GREEN CHILLIES- 3; CHOPPED

TURMERIC POWDER- 1/4 TABLESPOON
CHAT MASALA - 1/2 TABLESPOON

CORIANDER LEAVES- CHOPPED


FOR FRY

BREAD SLICES

OIL
   
PREPARATION

COOK POTATOES
CUT INTO SMALL CUBES

HEAT OIL IN A PAN
SPLUTTER MUSTARD, CUMIN SEEDS AND A PINCH OF HING  

ADD GINGER - GARLIC PASTE. MIX WELL
 
ADD FINELY CHOPPED GREEN CHILLIES, 1/4 TABLESPOON TURMERIC POWDER
SAUTE FOR 1/2  MINUTE

  ADD BOILED POTATO AND SALT 
MIX WELL

ADD CHAT MASALA AND CHOPPED CORIANDER LEAVES

YOU CAN ALSO ADD GREEN PEAS OR OTHER VEGETABLES IF YOU WISH

  FOR BATTER

 MIX BOTH FLOURS IN A BOWEL
ADD RED CHILLY AND TURMERIC POWDER AND SALT

MIX ALL WELL WITH LITTLE AMOUNT OF WATER
FORM A SMOOTH BATTER 

FOR FRY

CUT BREAD SLICES INTO DESIRED SHAPE
SPREAD POTATO MASALA IN 1 BREAD 
COVER IT WITH OTHER BREAD
DIP IN BATTER

DEEP FRY IN OIL
