RAVA / SEMOLINA  UPPUMA



INGREDIENTS


FRIED SEMOLINA -1 CUP

ONION- 1/4 CUP;  FINELY SLICED
GREEN CHILLIES- 3 ; CHOPPED
GINGER- - 2 INCH PIECE CHOPPED
CARROT- 1/4 CUP; CHOPPED
CURRY LEAVES-6

RAISINS- 1 TABLESPOON(OPTIONAL)

MUSTARD SEEDS-1 TABLESPOON

GHEE - 3 TABLESPOONS
SALT
WATER-1 1/2 CUP


PREPARATION


POUR GHEE INTO A HOT KADAI

SPLUTTER MUSTARD

FRY THE ONIONS FOR 1 MINUTE
ADD GINGER, GREEN CHILLIES CURRY LEAVES AND CARROT RAISINS, FRY FOR  1 MINUTE

ADD WATER AND SALT
ALLOW IT TO BOIL WELL

WHEN WATER GOT BOILED, ADD SEMOLINA LITTLE BY LITTLE BY STIRRING WELL.
ALLOW IT TO BE COOKED

SERVE HOT
